What Is the AGM Fellowship Network?

The AGM Fellowship Network is an organization of churches, pastors, and church leaders cooperating for the purpose of promoting the preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ and supporting the establishment and growth of New Testament model churches in the world.

The initials “A.G.M.” stand for Agape Gospel Mission, the organization which coordinates the AGM Fellowship Network.

There are three types of networks in the AGM Fellowship Network. These are Agape Church Network, Agape Open Network, and Agape Pastors Network.

Agape Church Network

This network is a fellowship of all churches founded and operated under the Agape Gospel Mission entity founded in the United States and other nations of West Africa by Rev. Richard C. Whitcomb. All the pastors and church leaders in the Agape Gospel Mission churches belong to this network.

The purpose of this network is to pursue and promote the vision and mission of Agape Gospel Mission.

A non Agape Gospel Mission church may join the Agape Church Network if it transforms its corporate registration to join Agape Gospel Mission. The AGM Secretariat coordinates and facilitates the process of admitting non-AGM churches into the Agape Church Network.

Agape Open Network

This fellowship is a network of the Agape Church Network and non-AGM churches that join the Agape Open Network. The purpose of this network is to connect churches, pastors, and church leaders for networking, mentoring, and apostolic covering. Members of the Network may call upon the leadership of the Network to mediate in succession and other conflicts within member churches.

The Agape Open Network offers access to ministry resources and the benefit of networking with leading member churches and pastors in the network. Fledgling network members also have the benefit of being mentored by established network associates.

Churches belonging to the Agape Open Network undertake to freely share knowledge and cooperate with other network members for the collective development of churches and pastors in the network. The requirements for becoming a member of the Agape Open Network are:

  1. Agreement with the traditional Pentecostal theological doctrines consistent with those
espoused by the Assemblies of God and similar church traditions,
  2. Agreement to uphold conservative Judeo-Christian moral tenets,
  3. Consent of church leadership to belong to the Agape Open Network, and
  4. Being fully paid up and current with annual membership subscription payments set by the AGM Fellowship Secretariat at the time of joining, and subsequently reviewed from year to year.

Agape Pastors Network

This network is a fellowship of pastors in the Agape Open Network and pastors who desire fellowship for the purpose of their spiritual development as leaders in God’s church. This network is exclusive to pastors only. A pastor who belongs to only this network does not have the full privileges which pastors and churches in the Agape Open Network have.

The Agape Pastors Network provides a platform for networking with other network members, and exclusive training and conferences organized by the AGM Fellowship Network. The requirements for becoming a member of the Agape Pastors Network are:

  1. Agreement with the traditional Pentecostal theological doctrines consistent with those espoused by the Assemblies of God and similar church traditions,
  2. Agreement to uphold conservative Judeo-Christian moral tenets, and
  3. Being fully paid up and current with annual membership subscription payments set by the AGM Fellowship Secretariat at the time of joining, and subsequently reviewed from year to year.
